Abstract
The complexity of family relationships in the modern period of social development leads to significant changes in leisure, including leisure, adults and children. Moving the bulk of the population in the city, reducing the number of children in the family, new professions and specialties, changes in the social structure as a whole affect this process. In addition, a significant role in the formation of a new structure of leisure plays ICTs, especially of the Internet. Modern family consists mainly of two generations, so working parents cannot always arrange full communion with their children. There is a process of substitution of parental communication in other forms and types, and not always it is good for educating the younger generation.
